When you first setup your AccountEdge file, you were prompted to select the number of accounting periods. You most likely selected 12, but now you want to use the mysterious 13th Period, which allows you or your accountant to make year-end adjusting entries, for example, that won’t affect your 12th period comparative financial statements.
