How to - Renumber Checks
Sometimes it happens: a check is misprinted in the printer, or someone loses a check you gave them. In either case, you need to void the current check, and print another. In AccountEdge this is an easy task. You can quickly locate the check you need to reprint, and print a new check with a new check number. If the old check needs to be voided, that's an easy task, as well. When you perform these tasks, AccountEdge will automatically update the Transactions Journal(s) with the new information (check numbers). For more information, check the Renumber Checks FAQ.
