2013 Acclivity Partner Summit

Last week we celebrated the 18th Annual Acclivity Partner Summit in New Orleans. This annual event brings together Acclivity Certified Consultants from all over North America, and beyond, to share 3 days of learning and fun. It was another stellar event, for all the usual reasons, both inside the meeting room and beyond. The food, the music, the drink, the weather, the football, the wedding and veteran parades. Spotlight - Attached Documents

The AccountEdge Pro 2013 Attached Documents feature allows you to attach any type of file to records in your AccountEdge company file. Types of file attachments include text documents, spreadsheets, PDF files, images, scans of quotes, correspondence, (paper and online) payment receipts, and email messages. The Attached Documents feature is great for attaching employee documentation to your employee records, too.

When you attach documents to your AccountEdge records, you can write some additional information about the attachments in the attachment record. This information can include where the paper copy is stored, as well as other related notes. The Attached Documents feature goes a long way towards tracking the bookkeeping information you need. Copies of Tax Returns

There are many reasons why you should keep a copy of your federal tax return. But, if you can't find your tax return and you need a copy, the IRS can provide a copy or give you a transcript of the tax information you need. View this IRS video about How to Request a Copy of Your Tax Return.

International Transactions

The AccountEdge Pro International Transactions feature handles sales, purchases, and payments (bank accounts) in foreign currencies. You'll need to enable the feature if you wish to use it. You would then indicate the currency your customers and vendors use. Although the transactions are recorded in foreign currencies, your assets, revenue and expenses will be recorded in your local currency.
